He was preceded in death by his Father, James Shaw; brother Robert Lee Garrett. Survivors include his wife Lonita Lynn Shaw; son, Anthony Keith Shaw of Asheboro; step-daughters, Heather Coalson and her husband Garrick of Ramseur and Jennifer Tillman of Pickens, SC; father, James Shaw and mother Shirley McNeil; sister, Bobbie Slate of Galax, VA; half-brothers, Scott Shaw of Asheboro and Jimmy Shaw of Asheboro; eight grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and Aunts.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday at Floral Gardens in High Point at 1:00pm with Dr. Jim Summey officiating.
Sechrest Funeral Service in Archdale is handling arrangements.
Donations can be made to the family at the funeral home.
