Roger Terry Canoy

Roger Terry Canoy, 75, of Randleman NC, passed peacefully on Thursday, January 30, 2025. Roger was born December 10, 1949, in Asheboro NC to the late Roby Lewis and Myrtle Greeson Canoy. He grew up on a tobacco farm in Randolph County and attended Asheboro High School. He was a tobacco farmer and retired from the Trucking Industry. Roger enjoyed the mountains, hunting, spending time with family and watching Westerns.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert “Bob” Canoy, James “Jim” Canoy, Richard Canoy, Harold Canoy; sister Janie Sumner and granddaughter Milea Canoy.

Roger is survived by his wife, Krista, his children Julie Fogleman (Russell), Terry Canoy (Amber), Jennifer Jetton (David), Echo Rich (Daniel), grandchildren; Cody Fogleman, Cameron Canoy, Gavin Rich, McKenzie Campbell, Seth Campbell (Alyssa), Jacob Campbell, great-grandson; Preston Rogers, brothers Glenn Canoy, Larry Canoy and sisters Nancy Capps, Brenda Buckles.
