Mr. Roger "Ronnie" Wayne Knox

Ronnie graduated from High Pont Central in 2002, where he played varsity basketball and proudly served as the school mascot—bringing spirit, laughter, and an easy warmth to those around him even then.

A hard-working and devoted man, Ronnie built a steady career with Capenter Company of High Point, where he rose to assistant plant manager. For 26 years, he was a loyal employee whose resilience, honesty, and quiet wisdom earned the respect of coworkers and friends alike.

Known as the life of the party, Ronnie never met a stranger—nor an enemy. His humor and kind heart were matched by a brave, generous nature and a deep loyalty to the people he loved. He enjoyed bowling, racing, and basketball, and he especially loved cheering for the Pittsburg Steelers and the Carolina Tarheels. Above all, he valued time spent with family and friends, offering presence, support, and a steady hand whenever it was needed.

Ronnie’s legacy is one of thoughtful care and steadfast devotion. He took special care of Momma Dukes and extended family, living with a spirit of service that will be remembered with gratitude and love.

Ronnie was preceded in death by his father, Roger Lee Knox; his special aunt, Brenda Swain; and his cousin, Andy Swain.

Survivors left to cherish Ronnie’s memories are his mother, Lori Knox; four sisters, Gina Testa, Crystal Gallegos, Sharon Stephenson, and Ashley Knox; his brother, Michael Knox; seven nephews and his niece; and his fur baby, Tank.

A Celebration of Ronnie’s life will be held Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at 12 noon at Advantage Funerals and Cremations in Archdale, NC. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Cemetery in High Point.
