Shelby was born February 1, 1937, in Guilford County the daughter of the late George Grayson Hubbard and Virginia Spainhour. Shelby was a homemaker who loved cooking and watching Oprah.
She loved her family and enjoyed being with her grandchildren and she also loved her fur babies!
Preceded in Shelby's death was her husband of 57 years, George "Skip" William Grant.
Left to cherish Shelby's legacy are her son Craig Grant and his wife Stuart of Archdale, NC and her two grandchildren, Liam Grant and Fiona Grant.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Home of High Point.
A Graveside Service for Shelby will be held Tuesday December 2, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Guilford Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Monday December 1, 2025, at Advantage Funerals and Cremations of Archdale from 6p.m.- 8p.m.
