She was born September 3, 1922 to the late Mr. & Mrs. H. T. Goodwin. Ms. Maness was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church and a retired employee of Carolina Steel Corporation in Greensboro.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter Karen Maness Moore; sister Marie Hendricks and husband Douglas E. Maness. Survivors include her son, Stephen Maness of Charlotte; Granchildren, Adam Moore, Steve Moore, Richard Moore and Tracy Maness.
A memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 18th at 2:00pm at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Burial will be at Guilford Memorial Park.
