Adeline Mildred DeGraf, 96, was born on November 19, 1926, in Chicago, Illinois to Gottlieb and Emily (nee Hardt) Schweigerdt. She died Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Waverly Inn Memory Care Community in Arlington Heights, Illinois.
Adeline was an avid Bingo player and she loved to spend time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Candy (Phillip) Staros, Scott (Junine) DeGraf, and Joy (Dean) Karakosta; her grandchildren, Scott and Marc Staros, Ryan, Stephen, and Allie Karakosta, and Addison DeGraf; her brother, Robert Schweigerdt; and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William DeGraf; her parents; and her sister, Gloria Schweigerdt.
Private services and interment were held.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Eden United Church of Christ, 5051 W. Gunnison St., Jefferson Park (Chicago), IL 60630-2310.
