Alana was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from Madonna High School. She loved music and Marvel movies and spending time with her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Zygmund Chmielarczyk. Alana was the beloved mother to Erica (Patrick) Bekas and Jason Bruczkowski; cherished Nana to Isaiah and Abigail Bekas; and former spouse to Eugene Bruczkowski.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 1:00 – 4:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The funeral service will follow at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. The interment will be private.
