Albert E. Walton

Mr. Walton was a loving family man who could often be found reading, fishing, spending time with his family and helping his wife in her various charity endeavors. Although often reserved, his quick wit and sense of humor could always get people laughing. Always there to lend an ear and give an encouraging word was the very essence of his nature.

He was a long time member of the Boy Scouts of America and assisted his wife with Hands Around the World cultural summer camp for Arlington Heights and surrounding communities.

Al is survived by his children Rebecca "Becky" (John) Frech, Stephanie Walton and Ben (Brandi) Walton and his grandson Justin Frech and granddaughter Jessica (Michel) Knowles.

He was preceded in death by his wife Gail C Walton, brother Robert E. Walton, sister Dolores E. Walton and parents Albert J and Sylvia Walton.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Lauterburg-Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment followed at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
