Alyce Ann Martinez

Of Arlington Heights

Alyce Ann Martinez was born December 16, 1931 in Chicago to Arthur and Anna (nee Cvikota) Brill. She died May 21, 2021 at her home in Arlington Heights.

Alyce lived a full and beautiful life. Her life was all about making memories with her family and friends. Her favorite pasttime was gathering with them on holidays and special occasions. She was an avid card player, collected ornaments and cookbooks, and loved preparing heirloom recipes. She collected angel pins and adored traveling to new places. Alyce loved keeping up with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren on Facebook. She greatly cherished her time at church through the years and continually prayed for those she loved.

Alyce is survived by her children Ann Kamykowski (Greg), Ellen Ostrowski, Robert Martinez (Beth), Patrick Martinez (Sue), David Martinez (Anna), Mary Pradzinski (Bob), and Barbara Orchard (Bob); her twenty grandchildren; her thirteen great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her mother Anna, father Arthur, brothers Charles and William, son-in-law Andrew Ostrowski.

Visitation will be Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights from 9:00 AM until the time of Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
