Anita Hornbostel, 80 of Arlington Heights was born May 31, 1940 in Sheboygan, WI to Fred and Elsie (Lawrenz) Degnitz and passed away December 21, 2020. Anita was the beloved wife of Raymond; loving mother of Thomas (Lilli) Hornbostel, Susan (Dan) Spieker, Laura Hornbostel and David Hornbostel; cherished grandmother of Natalie (Josiah) Hargis, Christina Spieker, Noah and Wade Hornbostel and step-grandmother of Cindy and Michelle; dear sister of Dorothy Degnitz, Esther (Arvid) Magnuson and Bill (late Jim Ryan) Degnitz and fond aunt of Sarah (Nathan) Zwagerman, Ruth (Tony) Hoglund and Anna (fiance Bryce Remick) Greeninger. Due to Covid-19 gathering restrictions, funeral services and interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to St. Peter Lutheran School, 111 W.
