Augustine "Gus" Michuda was born on July 28, 1932 in Chicago, Illinois to August and Hermina (nee Buday) Michuda. He died Friday, August 24, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family.

Gus was a State Farm Insurance Agent for over 50 years. He was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church.

Augustine is survived by his wife, Mary Olive (nee Czarnowski) Michuda; children, Mary Kathryn (Robert) Varsanik, James (Suzanne) Michuda, Mary Jacqueline (Brooke) Buzas, and Mary Monica (Jay) Buzanis; grandchildren, Daniel, Mary Alyssa, Joseph, Kellen, Jack, Nick, Owen, Eli, Addie, Ben, Cole, Ella, Molly, Jacqueline, and Kate; brothers Edward Michuda and Alfred Michuda.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Virginia Harar, Andrew Michuda, Brother Thomas Michuda, FSC, and Gerald Michuda; and his parents.

Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Thursday, August 30, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, Illinois, where prayers will be said at 9:15 am, Friday, August 31, 2018 proceeding to St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 411 N. Wheeling Road, Prospect Heights, Illinois, for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Interment All Saints Cemetery.
