Betty H Young

Betty H. Young, nee Chew, 95, of Schaumburg, passed away on May 14, 2024. Wife of the late Daniel T. Young. She is survived by sons Eugene (Christine Dick) and Perry (Karen), granddaughters Christina Schroeder (Karl) and Lauren Fitzgerald (Evan), great grandchildren Kiersten Schroeder and Gemma and Jacob Fitzgerald. She is also survived by her sister Alice, brother Jack, many nieces and nephews and Daniel Dick (Leslie), Melissa Mashke (Jeff), Evan and Cameron Dick and Gage Mashke. She was preceded in death by her parents, Yuen Gea and Quan Shee Chew, brothers Ben, Tom and Jan, and sisters Beth and Mary.

Friends and family will gather for a visitation for Betty that will be held on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004. A funeral service will occur on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM. An entombment will occur on Tuesday, May 21st, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 East Euclid Avenue, Arlington Heights, Illinois 60004.
