Bonita F. "Bonnie" RusinOf MundeleinBonita F. Rusin "Bonnie" was born on April 6, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to Florian and Florence (nee Bart) Soder. She died Sunday, December 20, 2015.Mrs. Rusin was employed at St. Mary Parish School for almost 25 years. In addition to teaching art and computer she was an administrative assistant to the Principal.Bonnie was a resident of the Grand Dominion Retirement Community where she enjoyed her neighbors and the Dell Webb community. She was an artist who loved to paint, draw and create stained glass. Bonnie enjoyed cooking for her family and appreciated music. She was secretary for Pink Heals of Northern Illinois. She will be missed by her best friend and companion, her dog Casey.Bonnie is survived by her children Steven M. (Jennifer) Rusin, Ryan C. (Julie) Rusin, and Traci Rusin (Thomas) Flader; her grandchildren, Hannah Rusin and Joshua Rusin, Lily Flader, and Charlie Flader, Will Rusin, and James Rusin.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne B.; her parents and her brother, Richard Soder.Celebration of Life Mass 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at St. Mary Parish, 10 N. Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, Illinois, 60089. Burial at St. Mary Parish Cemetery.Memorials accepted in Bonnie"s name for St. Mary School.
