Bruce Robert McIntosh was born on July 16, 1941, in Passaic, New Jersey to James and Olga (nee Molitoriss) McIntosh. He died Sunday, October 10, 2021, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, Illinois.
Bruce was the owner of McIntosh Cellars and Apple Orchard in South Haven, MI. He spent 35 years in the printing ink industry, retiring as technical director for Sun Chemical.
He served in the Air Force on Texas Towers #2 during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He was a member of Knights of Columbus #4483 where he was a past Grand Knight. Bruce was also a member of American Legion, Arlington Heights Post, Elk's Club, Michigan Cider Guild, and a former president of Chicago Printing Ink Production Club.
His passion was beer, wine and cider making and enjoyed sailing, hunting, fishing, golf, travel and flying small aircraft.
Bruce is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marie (nee Pepe); his daughters, Michelle (Robert) Stevens, Cheryl (Anthony) Zucchero, Toni McIntosh, Kristin (Brian) Korda; Grandchildren, Michael, Ryan and Madelyn Stevens, Jack and Christopher Davis; Vaughn and Callahan Korda; and Niece Jenn Sutula.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Kenneth McIntosh.
Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at the Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arl. Hts, Ill. Prayers 9:15 am Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the Funeral Home, proceeding to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arl. Hts Rd., Arl. Hts., Illinois for Funeral Mass at 10:00 am. Burial following at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine, Ill.
