Carl Fredrick Hahn, 74, a lifelong resident of Arlington Heights, IL passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on February 26th, 2021. Carl was born on June 5, 1946 in Chicago, IL. A true family man who adored his wife of 51 years, Kathie, his daughters Stacy (Mike) Ryan and Lesley (Mark) Dammann and his 6 grandkids, Ashlyn (17), Brady (15), Gus (14), Brock (13), Ehren (13) and Ada (8).Preceded in death by his parents, Irma and Herman Hahn, brother George and sister Caroline; his brother-in-law Charles Moore; and mother-in-law Marion M. Moore and father-in-law Robert Moore.
Always an entrepreneur rooted in community he successfully owned and operated Prim Cleaners Inc., Slate Street Billiards, and Better Call Carl. He enjoyed many years volunteering at Frontier Days Festival. He will be remembered most for his giving heart, helping hands, dry sense of humor, infectious laugh, enjoyment of snowmobiling and riding his Victory motorcycle, and his fierce love of family and friends. A celebration of Carl's life will be planned at a later date.
