Carol J. Benson was born on June 23, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to William and Gertrude (Olszewski) Jaramski. Carol passed away peacefully Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at JourneyCare at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Carol was a Lady that never looked at her glass half empty. She took every obstacle head on even when the odds were stacked against her. She taught her family to look at everything with Humor and Prayer. Even on her last days, she was making jokes to be said for her memorial. Carol had the Biggest heart when it came to Animals. She was a huge supporter for the ASPCA, as well as for the young children of the St. Joseph’s Indian School.

Her Greatest accomplishments in life she often spoke of was her Children. She adored them deeply as much as they did her. She will be missed every day.

Carol is survived by her Loving Husband of 59 Years William Benson; her daughters Victoria (late Mark) Spirek, Kimberly Olney and Lori (James) Wood; her grandchildren Mark, Tony, Andrew, Nick, Christina, Alec and Daniel; her great-grandson Elliott; her brother William (Judy) Jaramski; her sister Joni (Duane) Ingram as well as many Beloved nieces, nephews and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her Beautiful daughter Deborah Benson as well as her parents.

Memorial Visitation Saturday, Januray 4, 2020 from 12:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 1:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
