Carol Lee Burlini

Carol Lee Burlini, best known as Brenda, and most fondly remembered as Grandma Brenda, passed away November 18th, 2023, at the age of 82. Brenda was born on May 4, 1941, to Ralph Hofer and Jean (nee Pasquini) Halbrook.

Grandma Brenda will always be remembered for her kindness, love, and generosity. Her life was devoted to loving and caring for her children and grandchildren, her extended family, and her dearest friends. Brenda was most proud of her 25-year career as a bookkeeper at Itasca Park District. Grandma Brenda lived a selfless servant's life that touched many hearts. For that we are forever grateful.

Brenda is survived by her precious children, John Burlini, and Renee (Michael) Varner; her adoring grandchildren, John Burlini, Michael (Rachael), Matthew (Jessica), and Meredith Varner; and her dearly loved brother Donald (Robin) Chamblin.She is preceded in death by her father Ralph Hofer and her mother Jean, and stepfather, Charles Chamblin.

Visitation will be from 9:30 am until the time of Funeral Mass at 10:30 am Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
