Dear John, Mike and family,
We just heard about Carol and wanted to send our sympathy.  Carol gave so much to our community in so many ways with her volunteering. It was a pleasure to work with her on the Historical Society board and appreciated her knowledge of the museum.  She was so kind and generous in so many ways.

On April 23, 2023, Carol was honored with a plaque on the Legacy Wall at the Arlington Ridge Center. The plaque recognizes Carol  along with her parents, John and Mary Carol, for their many contributions and support of the Historical Society and Museum. Carol was a volunteer since childhood and later served as Development Coordinator for the Historical Society and a was also on staff for park district programs.

I had the honor of working with Carol and also volunteering with her. She will be deeply missed.

I am so saddened to hear of Carol's passing.  Carol and I became friends from years of dancing together.  We often rode home from tap class together and I enjoyed our many chats, which were always interesting and filled with laughter.  In years past, my mother and I enjoyed going out with Carol and her mother. I will miss Carol's friendship and her smile.  My deepest condolences to Carol's family.

Carol was a part of our Wednesday evening tap class for years. We all enjoyed her and she always had interesting facts about music and life she would share. Carol will truly be missed.

Carol was such a friendly and intelligent woman. I knew her from our PEO Chapter and was impressed with her smile and kindness. She was interested in learning and in sharing her knowledge with those around her.
