Cathy Coughlin, 84, was born March 13, 1937 to Harry J. Harmann and Catherine (nee Smith) in Cincinnati, Ohio

Cathy’s life was grounded in Love: Of family, and in making our home a place of peace, safety and acceptance. Her vocation and calling over the years was teaching as a preschool assistant and also as a senior high youth leader at churches in Avon, Connecticut and Arlington Heights. Her very greatest joys were her three children, six grandchildren, a great-granddaughter, and anticipating the birth of great-grandson Spencer in April of this year. Cathy loved the road and our coast-to-coast “friend trips” here in the USA. or to National Parks and shorelines anywhere.

Cathy is survived by her very loving husband of 61 years, Dave; children, David Jr., and (Jennifer) Coughlin, Curtis E. Coughlin, and Erin C. Coughlin; grandchildren Heather N. Raus, Hayley M. Raus, Brandon W. Coughlin, and (Jessica) Coughlin, Christy Kate (Chad) Lance, Allyson Marie Coughlin, and Madeline Coughlin; great-granddaughter Nicole Deanda and by her sister, Harriet Price. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Joan Kroeger.

A Memorial Service will be held for the family at the home of David Coughlin Jr., in Maineville, OH at noon Eastern Standard Time on Saturday, June 5, 2021, followed by burial at Arlington Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Mt. Healthy (Cincinnati) OH. The memorial service will be available live via the internet on Zoom.
