Cecilia J. McEnerney

Cecilia J. McEnerney, 88, formerly of Arlington Heights was born June 24, 1928 in Chicago to Bernard and Cecilia (nee Mulrenin) Wise and passed away February 6, 2017. Ceil will always be remembered for her love of family, her devotion to her son John, and her unmatched talent at her beloved Piano. Music carried her through to her final days, bringing happiness to all around. Ceil was the beloved wife of the late James W. McEnerney; loving mother of James (Veronica) McEnerney, Catherine (Patrick) Pecora, Cecilia (Bart) Murphy, Michael (Auna) McEnerney, Mary (Mark) Hoferle, John McEnerney and the late Thomas McEnerney; cherished grandmother of James (Shannon), Eileen and William McEnerney, Patrick (Katie), Michael, Danny and Kerry Pecora, Bart, Jack, Jimmy and Kevin Murphy, Molly, Will and Peter Hoferle and Shannon and Ian McEnerney and great-grandmother of Cecilia McEnerney; dear sister of the late Rev. Thomas Wise CSV, Bernard (late Mary) Wise and John (late Vera) Wise. Memorial visitation will be Friday, February 10, 2017 from 10:30 AM until time of memorial mass at 11:30 AM at St. James Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions to Misericordia Heart of Mercy, 6300 N. Ridge Avenue, Chicago, IL 60660 appreciated.
