Christopher Stanley Pienta

Christopher Stanley Pienta, 68, passed away unexpectedly on June 16, 2023. Chris was born in Chicago, IL to Stanley and Marie Pienta on December 5, 1954. He was a loving brother, fun uncle, and loyal friend.

Chris will be remembered for his love of family and friends. He had an adventurous spirit, loved nature, and exploring the outdoors. He was a lifelong learner who enjoyed reading, playing guitar and a variety of sports. His laugh was infectious and his storytelling was often accompanied with delicious food, a fine wine or craft beer.

He was preceded in death by his parents Stanley and Marie Pienta.

Chris is survived by his sister Anna McCann (Tim), sister Barb Ervin (Jeff), niece Laura Przybysz (Stephen), nephew Brian McCann (Emily), nephew Jon Ervin (Louise), and nephew David Ervin. Chris was loved and adored by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Visitation Monday, June 26, 2023, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, from 3:00 PM until the time of memorial service at 5:00 PM. Interment will be private.
