She died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Barrington.Mrs. Sahlin was a homemaker and was a member of Gladstone Park Lutheran Church for 50 years.She is survived by her children Paul R. (Susan MacKie) Sahlin, Thomas (Roberta) Sahlin, Claudeen Faraca; her daughter-in-law, Linda Weiszmann; her grandchildren Rebecca (Greg) Trower, Erica Sahlin, James Faraca, Jenny Rose Faraca, Laura (Scott) Minor, and Kristina (David) Hansen; and her great grandchildren Lexi, Clayton, Owen, Jason, Chloe, and Evan.She was preceded in death by her husband Elmer P. Sahlin; her son, James V. Sahlin; her parents and her brother, James Pearson.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois. Funeral Service 10:00 am, Monday, July 18, 2016 at the Funeral Home.
