Courtland Anthony Cornelius

Courtland Anthony Cornelius was born December 8, 1998 in Lake Forest to Christopher and Michelle (nee Conner) Cornelius. He died May 25, 2018 in Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Courtland was a sports fanatic. He especially loved watching and playing football. He participated in football and track all four years at Palatine High School. He played football at Dubuque University in Dubuque, Iowa. He transferred to Carthage College in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he participated in both track and football. He enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing video games of all kinds. His smile was contagious.

Courtland is survived by his siblings Darquis, Kendric, Cameron, Christina, Zaphany and Caden; his grandparents Fredrick and Cathy Cornelius and Vera Conner; his nieces Lyla, Sidnee and E’laya; by many uncles and aunts and by his parents.

Courtland is preceded in death by his grandfather Nathaniel Conner.

Visitation Saturday, June 2, 2018 from 9:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment is at St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery in Palatine.
