Craig H. Freeman

Craig H. Freeman Sr was born on June 2, 1930 in Alma, Michigan to Howard and Leah (nee Layman) Freeman, He died on December 23, 2022 at his home.

Craig graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in psychology. Upon graduation, he served honorably in the U.S. Army Signal Corps. Upon his discharge, Craig embarked on a career at Motorola for 38 years.

Craig enjoyed tennis, skiing, and sailing. He was a member of the National Ski Patrol, as well as a member of the Racine Yacht club.

Craig is survived by his children Leah (Joe) Alagna, Craig (Virginia) Freeman, Jr and Chris Freeman; his grandchildren Lauren Freeman, Eileen (Brian) Zimmerman, Joe (Julie) Alagna and Emily (Roger) Olivares; as well his great-grandchildren Riley Zimmerman and Charlie Olivares.

Craig is preceded in death by his spouse of 63 years RoseMarie Elizabeth (nee Norquest) Freeman, his parents as well as his brothers Kaye (late Peggy) Freeman and Kirk Freeman.

Visitation Saturday, January 7, 2023 from 9:00am until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30am at Glueckert Funeral Home 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Craig's name can be to the American Heart Association.
