I worked with, for, beside your father for many years at Federal Mogul-Industrial sales,  I was the Dallas then Houston, etc. guy .
About the same age 4/14/37 me.
We swapped E mails for years although I worked long after dan retired.  We always talked at Christmas.
As I/we are getting up in years although we travel a lot.  Sometimes forget,

Thought haven’t heard from Dan, better call,  then could not find a number.  Etc. Etc..
Had to find out the hard way.
Dan a honest, associate, always did the correct thing, A FRIEND at work & after we both finished that.

My deepest sympathies to you, Mark and Karen.   I was Dan's golfing buddy for the last 15 to 20 years and always enjoyed his stories about traveling to Minnesota for fishing trips.  I will miss him greatly, but I look forward to playing a round of golf with him and Don Diersen in heaven some day.

I had the honor of being Dan's pastor for 16 years. His smile lit up the choir and it was good to sit next to him in men's club and listen to his comments. His sense of humor always made where ever he was a happy place. Now he knows the joy of the home promised to him by our Lord in his baptism. I look forward to seeing Dan again in heaven above. I am sure, that if he is not fishing, he is singing in the choir.

My deepest sympathy to you Mark, Karen, Jim, Becky, and Carolyn.  Dan was a favorite cousin of mine.  I will never forget the great times we had when Dan, Tom, and Jim lived in Richfield, Mn with their parents George and Edna.  Dan and I were both in the Navy so we exchanged many stories although his were always much better than mine.  Dan always had a vibrant personality and a smile that warmed your heart.  Rest in piece Dan till we meet again.

I am so sorry to hear about Dan.  When I was very young and growing up in Minneapolis, we used to go over to the Kucera’s.  Dan was an older cousin and he and even though he was quite a bit older than I was, he and his brothers were role models for me at that young age.  Our families both moved to different cities so we didn’t see each other very much after that but the impression the Kucera boys left on me I value to this day. 

My sincerest condolences to Mark and Karen and families. It was an honor and a pleasure caring for your dad over the last few months. I enjoyed his humor and stubbornness, our visits always put a smile on my face. He will be sorely missed!

I’ve enjoyed knowing Dan as a neighbor for the last 20 years. A few years ago, I was invited to be a guest singer at Faith Lutheran Church for a special program and I was shocked to see neighbor Dan there!  We had known each other many years, but somehow the subject of our shared involvement in church choir had never come up.  I was honored to sing alongside him and to get to know this different side of him. 
May choirs of angels lead you into paradise, Dan. 

Karen and Mark,  I am  so sorry to hear of your dad's passing.  He has been a wonderful neighbor to us for the past 25 years.   We will miss our frequent chats and seeing him outside all of the time.   I will pray for you and the rest of your family during this difficult time.  Be sure to let us know if there is any way we can help.
