Darlene Joan Barany

Darlene Joan Barany, 91, of Palatine, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 4, 2023, at Aurora Medical Center in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. Loving wife of the late Donald R. Barany. Sister of Lorraine Senno. She was born on September 7, 1932, in Chicago, Illinois, to Charles and Bernice Trotter.

For over three decades Darlene served as the Payroll Supervisor at Paddock Publications where her meticulous attention to detail and unwavering commitment left an indelible mark on her colleagues and the organization.

She enjoyed dancing on the weekends, traveling, bowling, dining out at restaurants, and learning how to play tennis. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.

Apart from her professional achievements, Darlene cherished her role as a devoted mother to her five children, Joseph, and James Stoesser, Leslie Stoesser-Conklin, Cheryl (David) Trovillion, and Carol (Ted) Vandersnick. Darlene's legacy extends to the cherished relationships she shared with her stepchildren, Cheryl (Mitch) Trilling, Michael Barnay, Karen (James) Vita, Donna (Mike) Potter, Cindy (Terry) Beverly, and Constance Barnay (Nick Gagliano). She is also survived by her 10 loving grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren, and 10 step-grandchildren and 15 step-greatgrandchildren.

Committal Service is scheduled for 11:00 am, Friday October 13, 2023 at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 2501 E. Euclid Avenue in Arlington Heights, Illinois. Attendees should meet at the office.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
