Darline J. Ostapiuk (née Landers), a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 6, 2026, at the age of 88. Born on March 16, 1937, in Lake Village, Arkansas, Darline was the cherished daughter of Frank and Ada Landers (née Wilson).
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Jimmie Ford; loving husband, Zdzislaw “Joe” Ostapiuk; and sister, Maxine Byram.
She is survived by her dear son Robert (Sharon) Ostapiuk; dear grandson, Joe Ostapiuk; and beloved sister, Tommie Hillis.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Glueckert Funeral Home,1520 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004. The funeral mass is scheduled for Tuesday, February 17, 2026, starting at 10 am at St. Edna Catholic Church, 2525 N Arlington Heights Rd, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. The committal service will follow at All Saints Cemetery, 700 N River Rd, Des Plaines, IL, 60016.
