I am left with some wonderful memories of Dave from my days at W.E. Erickson and with my own company over the past 40 years.  He always had the funniest jokes, he'd tell them without the trace of a smile, while the rest of us howled with laughter.  We had many a lunch at Christopher's on York Rd. in Elmhurst.  He was a good person and a good friend.  He will be missed.

Dear Family Members- It has been a genuine privilege to know DL. The last two years his living in Lakeland has afforded us many opportunities to be near this wonderful guy. DL faithfully attended David's and Brian's baseball games and school activities. His deep baritone voice was often heard saying "Be ready,and be patient". Elizabeth will never forget the concern shown to her by DL after her injury and hospitalization. DL was a courageous and principled man, with a big, compassionate heart- He loved his family and they loved him dearly. I personally enjoyed many talks with DL and admired his insights and resolute understandings of key issues. He and I also spent time sharing stories of our unique childhood years... we truly enjoyed one another. Our grief is real, but at the same time we have a genuine inner peace, for we know he is now with the Lord in Heaven, and he no longer is suffering. We, along with his family, plan to see him again as we reach Heaven's Gates- Eliz and I will always feel we have part of DL with us in our dear daughter-in-law, Robin. Thank you Lynk family for letting us be a part of you.

Gary and Family,  Sorry to hear on the passing of your Dad.  He was a big man with a big heart!  You, your Dad and your family were an important part of my High School years. He really inspired me. Oye All thy Lynk Family!! The "Mystic Law" of life comes to visit once again. What a joyous occasion for the Uncle that could make anyone smile, and I smile know. How ironic his life is taken by a disease that effects the the strongest part of personality; the musclular system, and his heart (the strongest muscle that never sleeps) an autoimmune disease is the fight of all fights. Believe he would have won if that was his mission. Believe it!!!  I believe Uncle David  just needed a little break. Karma is the only truth that can't be told as a lie. He has build a vault of good Karma in my memories.  Just remembering the small relationship we had when I was a young lad in the cold north woods of Wisconsin. The magic tricks, the funny stories, the pyramid (does any one remember that)? My mom loved him very much, as a brother she never had. When she lost her sister, he was there for her. As a man, I heard only great things. My memories are of only great things. Uncle David has done his mission for now. You'all should be so proud!! I race through life and don't appreciate many things, and I hate to admit under a grieving time for those who cared  for a wonderful man who has made the ultimate change in life, but I am certain that he has earned, beyond a doubt, the opportunity to be free of pain and suffering. To enjoy continuing to make an immortal impact on the msytical events in the lifes of people who need it. Forever in my mind, he is. Forever in my heart he will be. Please know I will pray that each of you greive in your own way and take from him what he gave to you, whatever that was. I am here for you and will not let his impact on the world be forgotten. Dear Family,

I am so sorry for your great loss.  I remember Dave and Gwen so well.  Dave was one of the first people that I met when I met the Ninnemanns.  And that was a day I will always remember.  I remember him as a clown, and then in my later years I also became a part-time clown so I know how much he loved that.  He had a sense of humor and was a very caring person.  He always put a smile on my face when I saw him.  I am happy to have known him and his Gwen.
