David Paul Roth

Of Arlington Heights

David Paul Roth was born on March 6, 1965, in Dallas, Texas at Baylor Hospital to Eugene "Gene" and Dorothy (nee Aiken) Roth. He died Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Roth was a reporting specialist for Andre's Medical Billing and was formerly employed with American Express. He graduated from Arlington High School and later attended Indiana University. He was a passionate fan of music, and dearly loved all the people he met and befriended along the way. David proudly boasted of attending 30 Grateful Dead shows and in excess of 100 String Cheese Incident concerts. Most importantly, he was a die-hard fan of Mr. Blotto. He attended almost 1000 shows of theirs over the course of almost 30 years. One thing was certain, going to a Blotto show could always bring happiness to his heart and a smile to his face.

In addition to music, he deeply loved his sports teams including the Boston Red Sox, Miami Dolphins, and all Chicago professional sports teams. As much as he loved professional sports, nothing compared to cheering on his children.

David is survived by his children Jessica, Chelsie, and Kyle Roth; his mother Dorothy; and his sister Robin Roth. He will also be remembered by his first love, Elizabeth Newman, and his final love, Jen "Jenkie" Snyders, and her two grandchildren, Asia and Dakota, who he loved like his own. And his beloved dogs Chief & Harley.

He was preceded in death by his father, Eugene "Gene" E. Roth.

Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the time of Funeral Service at 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 16, 2021, at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, Illinois.
