Debra T. Morrison was born on April 19, 1958 in Chicago, Illinois to George and Therese (nee Spies) Grego. She died Tuesday, October 20, 2020 at Lutheran Home in Arlington Heights, Illinois.

Debbie grew up in Park Ridge, IL and was a long- time resident of Elk Grove Village, Illinois. She was a devoted member of Queen of the Rosary parish for over 35 years.

Debbie worked for many years as an early childcare teacher at local day care centers and worked for several years at United Therapies in Des Plaines. She loved spending free time with her family.

Debbie is survived by her siblings Daniel Grego(Debra Loewen), Thomas Grego (Sharon), Lawrence Grego, Julie (Joseph) Gagliardotto, Robert Grego (Anne), Kathleen (George) Maheras, Barbara (Thomas) Werderitch and Anthony Grego; cherished Aunt to Caitlin, Thomas, Martin, Ryan, Goddaughter-Shannon, Brian, James, Clarissa, Shannon, Michael, Megan, Joseph, Matthew, Daniel, Vincent and Aidan; great nieces and nephew: Elodie, Juniper, Clinton, Vivienne, Stella, and Sadie.

She was preceded in death by her parents

A Private Memorial Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 24, 2020 from 9:00 am until time of open (public) Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004 (Enter from covered doors from south parking area. Seating capacity limited to 160 guests, face masks and social distancing required. Those wishing to attend Debra's funeral remotely may do so by watching the live video stream.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Alzheimer’s Association.
