Denise Marie Hoppe

Of Arlington Heights

Denise Marie Hoppe was born June 11, 1966 in Chicago, IL. She grew up in Arlington Heights where she raised her two sons. She was very active in her community. She served on the PTA for 8 years and was a long time volunteer for Frontier Days. Denise had a passion for reading, gardening, cooking, camping and the outdoors. She had a big heart and was always willing to help someone in need. She was happiest when she was with her family and friends. She passed away from Leukemia on February 2, 2022 at JourneyCare Hospice in Barrington.

Denise is survived by her sons William and Wesley Hoppe; her sister Michelle (late Paul) Jonas and by her mother Carmella (nee Lisula) Lowth, her step-father Dr. Robert Lowth and by her nieces and nephew Tiffany, Alexa and Nathan Jonas.

She is preceded in death by her Aunt Rosie (Mike) Kurzydlo.

Visitation will be Friday, February 11, 2022 from 3 PM – 8 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road. Prayers 11:15 AM Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Glueckert Funeral Home to St. James Catholic Church, 831 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights for Mass at 12:00 PM. Interment Private.
