She was born in Chicago to Thomas and Mildred (nee Tripicchio) Salvo.
Mrs. McCloy worked as a sales rep at Arlington Mills for several years. She also worked at Remax Suburban in Mt. Prospect. She was know at Arlington Senior Center as the “Puzzle Lady”.
Dolores’ survivors include her daughters Kimberly (Terry) Frederick of Wisconsin, and Ronee Kieft of Palatine; her grandchildren Nickolas Kieft and Brianna Kieft; and her step-grandchild Megan Brock.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Daniel Patrick McCloy, brother Joseph Salvo and her parents.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt and special thank you to Tamala Khonge for her compassionate care, kindness, and unwavering support as Dee’s live-in aid.
Visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 434 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005, on October 6, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Followed by a Funeral Mass starting at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
