Dominic James Saviano, III, 51, was born March 15, 1973, in Arlington Heights, IL to Dominic and Joanne (nee Alexander) Saviano. He died Friday, March 29, 2024, at his home in Buffalo Grove, Illinois.

Dominic was preceded in death by his father, Dominic James Saviano Jr.

Known affectionately by family and friends as "Bubba".

Dominic worked for the Village of Buffalo Grove at the Park District for over 23 years, and many years for Pizza Hut.

Dominic is survived by his mother, Joanne; his sisters, Carla (Rick) Lahrman, Tina (Billy) Feld, and Deanna "DJ" (Matt) Klister; his nieces and nephews Ricky (Theresa) Lahrman, Vicki (Travis) Hunter, Taylor, Shannon, and Austin (Godson) Feld; Ryan, Brandon, and Kevin Klister; and his great nieces Leah, Lauren, and Lyla Hunter.

Bubba loved sports, family gatherings, and Las Vegas. He was known in Vegas by numerous casino bands and entertainment. He loved bands and music. He was never seen without his head set, listening to country music.

Dominic was also involved in the Special Olympics in his earlier years. He participated in numerous sporting events. Dominic loved being the assistant coach of his nephew's soccer team for many years. He left a lifelong impression on the boys' lives.

Dominic was loved by all and will be missed by many. Dom touched so many lives that everyone who met him was left a better person.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until 7:00 PM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Prayers at 9:45 AM on Thursday, April 4, 2024, from the funeral home, proceeding to St. Mary Parish, 10 North Buffalo Grove Road, Buffalo Grove, IL, for Mass at 10:30 AM. Interment follows at St. Mary Parish Cemetery, Buffalo Grove, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Special Olympics Illinois, 605 E. Willow St., Normal, IL. 61761, www.specialolympics.org in Dom's Name.
