Donald R. HawleyOf VoloDonald R. Hawley was born on October 26, 1929 in Chicago to John and Adelaide (nee Rustad) Hawley. He died Monday, January 26, 2015 at JourneyCare in Barrington.Don worked as a Operations Manager of the Chicago Group for Sears Roebuck. He was a member of Kalamazoo Country Club in Kalamazoo, MI. He was an avid golfer and loved to "puts" outside in his garage and at his daughter's home. Don once held a patent for Caulk Tips which he invented. He planned Super Bowl Parties that were memorable. Don loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all.Donald is survived by his spouse Marjorie (nee Kelly) whom he married November 18, 1950 in Chicago; daughter, Susan Doczi; grandchildren, Christine and Patrick Doczi; and many nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jack Hawley; brother-n-laws, Jack Kelly, Tom Kelly, and Bob Kelly; and sister-in-law, Marion McNicholas.Visitation Friday, January 30, 2015 from 9:00 am until 10:15 am, Prayers at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road (4 blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights. proceeding to St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 135 S. Buesching Road, Lake Zurich, IL 60047, for a 11:00 am Funeral Mass.
