Donald John Lussman

Donald John Lussman was born on October 15, 1923 in Arlington Heights to Carl and Alvina (nee Clausing) Lussman. He died Monday, June 18, 2018 in Arlington Heights.

A World War II veteran, Mr. Lussman worked as a pharmacist for Harris Pharmacy in Arlington Heights for nearly 50 years. He was a life-long member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Arlington Heights. Don loved to travel and was an avid follower of Chicago sports teams. He loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren, and was loved by all.

Don is survived by his daughter, Linda (Mark) Warner; grandchildren, Anne (Nate) Martin, David (Heidi) Warner, and Sara (Ken) Chakour; great-grandchildren, Andrew Martin, Rebecca Martin, James Martin, Ainsley Warner, and Beck Warner.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Fay; son, William Lussman, and his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Thursday, June 28, 2018 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 111 West Olive Street, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment is private.
