Donna Marie Shoberg

Donna was born in Chicago, to the late LeRoy and Marian Thomson. She was married to David Shoberg for 64 years until his passing in 2020. She was blessed with three children, Susan (The Honorable Thomas) Hayes, Sandra (Col. Mark) French, Dr. David Shoberg, cherished grandmother of Sara Hayes, Timothy (Aneli) Hayes, Mark (Michele) French, Katie (Walker) Hill, Dana French, David (Maggie) French: Beloved great grandmother of twelve.

Jacob and Eliana Hayes, Zoe, Barnabas, Boaz and Benjamin French, Walker, Baylee, Colson, Charlie, Clara, Truett Hill.

Beloved sister to LeRoy (Nancy) Thomson with many nieces and nephews.

Donna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She retired at the age of 82 as a medical bookkeeper. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Donna was a long-standing member of the Orchard Evangelical Free Church.

A visitation for Donna will be held Saturday, October 11, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 East Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, IL 60004. With a funeral service to follow. A graveside service will take place Saturday, October 11, 2025, beginning at 12:15PM at Ridgewood Memorial Park, 9900 N Milwaukee Ave, Des Plaines, IL 60016.
