Doris Bunas was born on February 19, 1918 in Sweden to Karl and Alma (nee Johnson) Wennerholm. She died Monday, January 22, 2018 at Sunrise Assisted Living in Naperville.

Doris is survived by her daughters, Nancy (Charles) Mueller and Karen Siepmann, grandchildren, Kristin (Stephen) Mandella, Kai (Daphne) Johnstad, Keith (Theresa) Mueller, Kim (Dan Kirby) Mueller and Kevin Mueller, 12 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great-Grandchild.

She was also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband of over 70 years, Bennie I Bunas, her parents and brothers, Folke (late Hannah), Elof (late Louise) and Oke (late Evelyn).

Visitation from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm, Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Rd.), Arlington Heights. Memorial Service, 11:00 am Friday, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church,1234 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights 60004. Entombment will be held privately at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.

Memorials in Doris' name may be given to Our Saviour's Lutheran Church.
