Dorothy L. Roth, 92, was born on November 3, 1929, to Paul and Louise (nee Marvel) Aiken. She died May 1, 2022, at her home.

Mrs. Roth grew up on the north side of Chicago, IL near Wrigley Field. She attended Northwestern University. After college, she worked for many years at Illinois Bell. When she began her family, she retired to become a full-time parent and homemaker and moved to Arlington Heights.

Dorothy was a lifelong Chicago Cubs fan. She was overjoyed to see her number one bucket list wish come to life when the Cubs won the World Series in 2016. Dorothy loved playing games, especially cards. Traveling with family. Having gatherings with loved ones and cooking.

Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Robin; her grandchildren, Kyle, Jessica, and Chelsie Roth.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Eugene; her son David; and her parents.

Funeral service 6:00 pm, Monday, May 23, 2022, at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 302 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Visitation from 2:00 pm until time of service. Interment private.

Memorial donations can be given to the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights.
