Dorothy Mae VanBuren

She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Des Plaines. Dorothy loved crocheting, sewing and quilting and was a skilled craftswoman. She also like to share her skill with others. Dorothy also enjoyed playing cards and Bingo and was very sharp. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren and was loved by all.

Dorothy is survived by her children; Sandra (Stephen) Wildkatsch, William B. (Veronica) VanBuren, Nancy Willming; grandchildren, Susan (Kevin) Mantooth, Richard Wildkatsch, Stephen W. Wildkatsch, Jessica Craig, Becky (David) Valara, Jenny (Steve) Moore, Jeff (Melissa) VanBuren, Sarah (Brian) Burke, Tom (Kristin) Willming, Kim (Bret) Andel, Terrie Willming; twenty great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Marlene Williamson; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband William H. VanBuren; her siblings, Alice (Harold) Schaefer, Margaret (Richard) Mayerle, Richard Williamson.

Memorial Visitation from 9:30 am, Tuesday, January 9, 2018 until the 10:30 am Memorial Service at the Wittenberg Commons Meeting Room A at Luther Village, 1250 Village Drive, Arlington Heights, IL, 60004. Interment is Private.
