Dr. Malcolm "Mack" Robert Haggerty

Of Rolling Meadows

Dr. Malcolm R. Haggerty was born on July 17, 1960, in Chicago to Francis and Roma (Bellamy) Haggerty. He died Thursday, November 21, 2019, in Rolling Meadows.

He grew up in Winnetka, IL. Mack was a graduate of New Trier High School, Southern Illinois University, Webster University and the Illinois School of Professional Psychology.

Malcolm worked as a Clinical Psychologist throughout the Chicagoland area. He served in the US Navy as a religious program specialist, where he developed his passion for helping others. Mack loved aviation, history, and collecting military memorabilia. He was a devoted father to his two sons, and enjoyed teaching them about cars, cooking, and classics, such as Svengoolie and the Three Stooges. He was loved by all.

Mack is survived by his friend and former wife, Jill (Maloney) Haggerty, and sons Finnian Haggerty and Patrick Haggerty. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Memorial Service will be held 1:00 pm Monday, November 25, 2019, at St. Simon’s Episcopal Church, 717 W. Kirchhoff Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005. Interment is private.
