Dr. David Earl Oak

Dr. David Earl Oak, formerly of Arlington Heights, was born on January 20, 1964 in Clinton, Iowa to Earl and Gloria (nee Cook) Oak. He died Wednesday, June 4, 2014 at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago.Dr. Oak is a 1982 graduate of Arlington High School and graduated in 1986 from Jacksonville State University where he was gymnast and national champion in parallel bars and high bars." He graduated from Logan College of Chiropractic in 1989 and has practiced in Arlington Heights for 24 years.Dave and his children Mason and Devyn shared a passion for hunting and fishing." He was an active coach for Palatine Baseball and Football programs.David is survived by his wife April Oak nee Legge: his children Mason David Oak and Devyn Lee Oak; his sister, Dyanne (John) Wallner; his parents; his niece Paige Wallner, nephews Scott," Brett and Tripp Wallner; his father-in-law and mother"in-law Rich and Nancy Legge and his sisters-in-law, Shannon (Paul) Prasarn and Heather (Alex) Muniz.Visitation" from 3:00 until 8:00 PM Sunday, "June 8, 2014 at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., , Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
