He died March 2, 2016 at his home in Arlington Heights.Ed was an attorney, practicing law from 1949 until retiring from his own firm in 2012. He enjoyed world traveling, especially cruises in Europe. Ed was a long time member of the Elks Club and the American Legion. He greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughters.Edward is survived by his wife Gundi (nee Gottschalk) Leahy; his sons Edward (Yolanda) Leahy and Harold Leahy and by his granddaughters Marlena, Anneliese and Marielle Leahy.Edward is preceded in death by his parents.Visitation Monday, March 7, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 11:00 AM at the Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N.
