

He was born in Oak Park, IL, on February 22, 1929, the son of Edward J. Sr. and Bernice (nee LeBeau) Losos.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann A. Losos; siblings, Marie Bradbury, Nancy Guzik, and Tom Losos; and grandchildren, baby Joey Leahy and baby Leo T. Pellino.
Edward is survived by his children, Christine (Michael) Ryan, Joseph (Cathy) Losos, Rosemary (the late Timothy) Leahy, and Edward (Christi) Losos; #15 grandchildren; and #19 great-grandchildren. Edward is also survived by many dear friends who will miss him greatly and forever remember his gentle and kind spirit.
For 40 years, he dedicated his career to Edward Hines Lumber Company, where he served as General Manager. Edward took great pride in his work and earned the admiration of colleagues, employees, and customers. His steady guidance, hard work, and genuine care for those around him left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege of working with him.
A devoted believer in giving back to his community, Edward was a proud and active member of the Mt. Prospect Lions Club for 25 years. His dedication to serving others led him to hold the esteemed position of Club President. Whether volunteering at community events or supporting those in need, he found the greatest fulfillment in making a positive difference in his community.
Edward will be remembered as a devoted family man who will be dearly missed but not forgotten.

A visitation will be held at Our Lady of the Wayside Catholic Church, 434 W Park St, Arlington Heights, IL 60005, US, on Thursday, July 2nd, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, followed by a Funeral Mass starting at 11:00 am. The committal service will take place at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside, IL.
