El-Roy H. Schoo 88, of Mt. Prospect was born on August 23, 1937, to the late Henry and late Mildred (nee Landmeier) Schoo and passed away June 26, 2026. El-Roy was the beloved husband of the late Diana (nee Mueller) Schoo; loving father of Janelle (Russ) Lantz, Kathleen (Bryan) Yoemans and Kenneth (Denene) Schoo; devoted grandfather of Logan, Bryce and Megan Schoo; dear brother of the late Maraldine (late Raymond) Schmidt and the late Randall (Nancy Jean) Schoo.
El-Roy loved gardening and traveling but most of all he loved his grandchildren. He was also a member of the Sheet Metal Workers Union.
Visitation Tuesday July 7, 2026, from 10am until time of service 1pm at Lauterburg&Oehler Funeral Home 2000 E Northwest Highway Arlington Heights, IL. 60004. Interment Memory Gardens Cemetery.
