Elizabeth Ann Orozco

Elizabeth Orozco was born on December 15, 1979 in Hialeah, FL, to Rev. Julio Orozco and Marie (nee Rivera) Orozco. She died Wednesday, August 31, 2022 in Arlington Heights.

Elizabeth "Liz" worked an an Culinary Assistant for Aspired Living in Prospects Heights. She was a long time member, since its inception, of Ascension Lutheran Church in Niles IL . Elizabeth loved cooking gourmet food, fashion, karaoke, pop culture trivia, movies, history, children and animals of all kinds. But, most of all she loved the Lord Jesus and believed in Him and the resurrection. Elizabeth loved to spend time with her family and friends and touched the lives of many people. She brought joy and laughter to everyone who had an open heart and was loved by all.

Elizabeth is survived by her parents, Rev. Julio (Marie) Orozco: siblings, Dr. Marilu (Aaron) Orozco-Peterson, Christine (Matt) Orozco-Gorgen, Julio D. (Melissa Kuziel) Orozco, and Diana (Christopher) Pedersen ; nieces and nephews, Maria Isabel Orozco-Vela, Christian Peterson, Garrett Peterson, Julia Pedersen, Sophia Pedersen and Evangeline Peterson.

Visitation Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 9:00 am until the 11:00 am Funeral Service at Glueckert Funeral Home,Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road (four blocks south of Palatine Road), Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be at Memory Gardens Cemetery in Arlington Heights.
