Ellen R. Wiley of Arlington Heights Services for Ellen R. Wiley (nee Paris), 86, will begin with prayers at 9 a.m. Friday, at Lauterburg & Oehler Funeral Home, 2000 E. Northwest Highway, Arlington Heights, and proceed to St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 1201 E. Anderson Dr., Palatine, for Mass at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 17, at the funeral home. Born Dec. 16, 1924, in Chicago, she died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2011, at The Lutheran Home. Mrs. Wiley was a longtime and active parishioner at St. Thomas of Villanova Church. She was the wife of the late Robert Wiley; mother of Marianne (the late Fritz) Hummerich, Susan (John) Helmer, Michael (Kathy) Wiley, Patricia Wiley and Deborah (Paul) Harshbarger; sister of George (the late Evelyn) Paris and Tony (Julie) Paris; grandmother of 14; and great-grandmother of seven. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Foundation appreciated.
