Emil was the beloved husband of 60 years to the late Germaine (nee Granner) Eder; loving father to Chris Eder, Steven (Kathryn) Eder, Thomas Eder, Katherine (late Myles) Smetana, Daniel (Karen) Eder, and Diane (Raymond) Pierce; cherished grandfather to 19 wonderful grandchildren; and dear great-grandfather to 11 great-grandchildren. He will be missed dearly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Rd., Arlington Heights, IL 60004. Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Parkinson’s Foundation.
