Emma Mazurek

She died peacefully, surrounded by her children, on October 13, 2020 in Shorewood, Illinois.

Emma is survived by her son Edward Mazurek, her son Robert Mazurek and his wife Heather Faust, her daughter Linda Mazurek Irving and her husband Stephen Irving, and her grandchildren Ella Mazurek, Riley Mazurek, Cory Irving, and Kyle Irving.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Chester Mazurek, her brothers Dr. Henry Osa, Hector de la Osa, and Eduardo de la Osa, and her sister Rosa Puig.

Emma was an avid St. Edna’s bingo player and enjoyed frequent winning trips to Las Vegas with Chester and her sister-in-law, Helen Mazurek. She was winning games of dominos against her children until her final days. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, drinking Manhattans, shopping, and dancing.

Visitation will be Saturday, October 17, 2020 from 10:30 AM until the time of funeral service at 1:00 PM at Glueckert Funeral Home, 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60004.
