the most painful part in everyone's life would probably be saying good bye to a loved mother permanently and so thus a dear loved friend and member of our Pionneer class 1962. part of losing someone is not having to say good bye but rather learning to live without them. always trying to fill the void,the emptiness that is left inside our heart as they go. the loss of our Linda as we fondly call or beloved member of the pioneer family is a dedicated,fun loving loyal pioneer who is larger than life personality that transcended the pioneer community. she was part of our life and activities from pre-nursing years into our senior years as mother,grandmother "(lolos and lolas)" sharing our success and our sorrows. we studied together,lived together,watch each others' back and worked together to raising families and building a house into a home. a meaningful life sharing herself and touching the lives of others. all her children and grandchildren are beautiful and brilliant obviously take after their grandmother. a life beautifully lived and cherished for all time. we send her off with sadness but at the same time we must rejoice that she is now with her loving husband Willie, sons Bill and Richard. and most of all that she is in the arms of our Lord and creator. farewell our dear friend,you will be sorely missed. may you continue to leave an imprint in your new home to the family. our prayers and condolences to the family.

To Dear Eileen and the rest of the Reotutar Family,

We share your sorrow and extend to all of you our condolence and prayers. As we mourn the loss of your mother, Erlinda, we also celebrate her life which was full of love, caring, benevolence, hospitality, willingness to help, vivacity and many more qualities and attributes. We have many memories of and with your entire family which we will forever treasure and honor: college days, early days in Chicago, reunions, travels, as sponsors during baptisms of Eileen and the late Bill Jr., Linda and Willie as baptismal sponsors of our first born Marilen, our many gatherings in the same apartment building where we all lived in Chicago and in the same community where we all lived in Arlington Heights. 

You are all in our thoughts and in our prayers. It is said that the happiest place to be is in someone's thoughts, the safest place to be is in someone's prayers and the best place to be is in the hands of God. Linda is now in the hands of God with Willie, Bill Jr. and Richard.

We pray that all of us will find some solace, comfort and hope in the following quotes:

Dear Olette & the Reotutar Family - Linda and Willie were with their baby on April 1963 to come to the U.S.A.  I and Violeta (Letty) were on the same NWA flight with our baby, Ben, Jr.  Then we visited each other very often when we resided in Lexington, KY & the Reotutar Family in Arlington Hts., IL.  I recalled how Emy Maniago, M.D. (May He Rest in Peace) & I bugged Willie when he was courting Linda because he will take a bus/jeep towards Cubao, QC but he was not going to Cubao!  He was buying flowers at Aurora Blvd. to give to Linda while she was on-call at the ward.  What Emy & I will did was to crowd Linda so that Willie cannot give the flowers & start the courtship!  "Hi guys please live & get the hell out so that I can have some private moments with Linda!!"  I also remembered when in the afternoon & we did have dinner yet, we will purposely visit Linda on dinner time so that we can be invited for dinner!!  Olette knows about this scenario.

We are all deeply saddened by your Mom's passing. Your Mom and Dad were very dear to us. We used to spend great times together, sharing fun and laughter. Dear Bob and the entire Reotutar family,
To say your Mom was a gracious and warm host would be an understatement. Always welcoming, always cheerful, and forever trying to feed Bobby's friends! I can only smile when I think of my interactions with her at your house or on the phone. She was a wonderful woman and I'm very sorry for your loss.
