

Eunice M. GranzinOf Spooner, WisconsinEunice M. Granzin was born on April 13, 1923 in Chicago to John and Lydia (nee Redmann) Eich. She died Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Shell Lake, Wisconsin.In 1947 she married Wilbert Granzin in Arlington Heights. They raised their 4 children in Mt. Prospect. In 1979 she and Wilbert retired to Wisconsin. While living in Mount Prospect Eunice was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church participating in choir and couples club. She was leader of a Camp Fire Girls group for 10 years. She led the girls through the entire Camp Fire Girls program culminating in the highest award the girls could achieve. She was the organizer and spirit behind the annual birthday dinner, the ceremonials, and day camp. "She continued to work with Camp Fire Girls at the council level. She enjoyed playing cards with friends and outings with the couples in the "Jolly Club".Eunice is survived by her children, Kris (John) Hall, Gary (Lynn) Granzin, Vicki (Robert) McLaughlin, and Bryan (Bonnie) Granzin; grandchildren, Tara McLaughlin, Hollee Arreola, Marissa Juracek, Garrett Hall, Jonathan Granzin, Jeff Granzin, Susanna Weideman, David Granzin, Abbie Butenhoff and Gretchen Sandstrom; 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Lois Burrow.She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Granzin; brother, Robert Eich; and by her parents.Visitation from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm, Friday, June 10, 2016 at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights, and Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 10:30 am until Funeral Service 11:00 am at Glueckert Funeral Home.
